Always be a little kinder than necessary

A little kindness can make all the difference to someone- and a lot of kindness can make even more. Especially in a world that seems increasingly negative and toxic, kindness definitely seems to be the one thing you can’t have too much of.

My guest today takes that philosophy to heart, always striving to be as kind as possible and then some. Ashley Orcutt is a killer-whale-toy-designer-turned-dog-trainer (yes, you read that right) who believes in bringing as much kindness to the world as possible. Join us as we discuss the similarities between dog training and dolphin training, a wish for more patience, and what it's like to work at Sea World.

Ready to reconnect with your inner wisdom?

If this conversation resonated with you, you're not alone in feeling caught between deep compassion for animals and your own exhaustion. I work with pet professionals who are ready to transform their relationship with themselves and their work—moving from burnout to sustainable success while rediscovering the joy that first drew them to this field.

Coaching

Whether you need clarity on something specific or want to explore deeper patterns, we can work together one-on-one. Many people start with a single 90-minute breakthrough session to experience how coaching can shift your perspective, then choose what feels right for their next steps.

Free Community Sessions

Every few months, I offer connection and learning opportunities where pet professionals can focus on their own needs, explore helpful concepts together, or simply connect with others who truly understand this work. These sessions are my gift to anyone in my email community.

Weekly Support

My Helping Yourself to Help Others notes offer gentle wisdom designed specifically for pet professionals—practical insights without overwhelm, because you deserve the same compassion you give to the animals in your care.
