Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.

Jenny Roberts has spent years doing the invisible work that holds a veterinary practice together. As a customer service representative (CSR) at Partners Animal Hospital of Asheville, she's the person who answers the call when someone's pet might be in crisis, who notices the doctor hasn't called back, who makes sure the schedule doesn't quietly implode.

In this conversation, Jenny talks about what the CSR role actually involves, why she fell into it by accident and fell in love with it by surprise, and what she's learned about meeting people — and herself — where they are. She also shares the phrase that guides her work with clients: "Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong."

Ready to reconnect with your inner wisdom?

If this conversation resonated with you, you're not alone in feeling caught between deep compassion for animals and your own exhaustion. I work with pet professionals who are ready to transform their relationship with themselves and their work—moving from burnout to sustainable success while rediscovering the joy that first drew them to this field.

Coaching

Whether you need clarity on something specific or want to explore deeper patterns, we can work together one-on-one. Many people start with a single 90-minute breakthrough session to experience how coaching can shift your perspective, then choose what feels right for their next steps.

Free Community Sessions

Every few months, I offer connection and learning opportunities where pet professionals can focus on their own needs, explore helpful concepts together, or simply connect with others who truly understand this work. These sessions are my gift to anyone in my email community.

Weekly Support

My Helping Yourself to Help Others notes offer gentle wisdom designed specifically for pet professionals—practical insights without overwhelm, because you deserve the same compassion you give to the animals in your care.
