Single Session Coaching
For Pet Professionals Ready for Clarity
Clarity
When One Powerful Conversation Changes Everything

You're stuck on something.
Maybe it's a decision that keeps you awake at 2 a.m., replaying the same scenarios over and over. Maybe it's a pattern you've noticed—the way certain situations always seem to trigger the same exhausting response. Or maybe there's something beneath the surface of your day-to-day challenges, something you can sense but can't quite name.
You've tried thinking it through on your own. You've probably talked to friends or colleagues. But the clarity you need keeps slipping away, and meanwhile, you're still carrying the weight of it.
Often what you need isn't more information or a commitment to trying harder. It's having someone help you see what's actually happening—not just the surface problem, but what's underneath it.
That's what a single coaching session can do.
When we're stuck, most of us do the same things:
We analyze endlessly, hoping logic will eventually untangle what we're feeling. But analysis alone can't shift the patterns we can't see or the beliefs we don't realize we're carrying.
We seek advice from people who care about us. While their input matters, they're often looking at our situation through their own lens, not ours. And when their suggestions don't quite fit, we end up feeling even more confused.
We try to push through with sheer willpower. We tell ourselves we should just decide, just do it, just get over it. But forcing ourselves forward without understanding what's in the way only creates more internal resistance.
None of this means you're doing something wrong. It means you're trying to solve a different kind of problem than you actually have.

What You Really Need (and How This Works)
What actually creates breakthrough isn't more thinking—it's new understanding.
When you can see the full picture of what's happening—the protective patterns that made sense in their original context, the unexamined beliefs shaping your choices, the deeper needs calling for attention—everything shifts. Suddenly, what felt impossibly stuck becomes navigable.
This is what happens in a coaching session with me:
I trust that you already have wisdom inside you—my role is simply to help you access it. My 25+ years as a dog trainer taught me to read what's happening beneath behavior, and my training in how humans create meaning and change helps me understand both the unique pressures of pet professional life and the internal patterns that keep us stuck.
Four Shifts That Happen
Clarity on what's really happening
You'll understand not just the surface situation, but the deeper patterns and beliefs shaping your experience. This awareness alone often shifts how you see everything.
Permission to trust yourself
You'll reconnect with your own knowing—the inner wisdom you use confidently with animals, but struggle to access for yourself.
Insight into what you actually need
You'll leave with clarity about what you actually need—whether that's specific next steps, something to pay attention to, or simply permission to trust what you already know.
Relief from carrying it alone
Something loosens when you're truly heard by someone who understands both your professional world and what it's like to be human in it. That spaciousness creates room for new possibilities.

How Others Have Experienced Single Sessions
The Gift of Clarity
Colleen offered me the gift of clarity.
I was struggling with some business decisions, I needed someone to talk to that could help me to look at all the options, consider the emotions involved and make some decisions and create some professional boundaries.
My session with Colleen gave me that clarity and some tools to use in the future.

“
I was a bit blown away. Sometimes just saying things out loud can bring a lot to your attention. Colleen was able to hear things in what I was saying that I didn't realize. That was very helpful.
It came down to breaking it down and isolating the specific parts that were giving me trouble. With Colleen's help, I was able to focus on those and treat that small part that isn't really small.

Having questions asked without judgment allowed me to do some internal exploring in the moment.
It was a relief. It's like something was stuck there, bottled, almost like a bottle of champagne. You have to release the pressure, pop the cork, and then it's a celebration.
I was allowed to be myself and react the way it was coming up for me naturally.

Common Questions
How do I know if one session is enough, or if I need more support?
You get to decide that—and you don't have to decide now. Many people start with a single session to experience how coaching shifts their perspective. Some find that a single clarifying conversation gives them exactly what they need. Others discover they want to explore multiple areas of their life and choose to continue with extended coaching. There's no pressure either way. The session serves you regardless of what you choose afterward.
What if I'm not sure exactly what I want to focus on?
That's completely normal. You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk. Many clients come in saying "I'm not even sure where to start," and that's a perfect place to begin. We'll start with whatever feels most alive for you in the moment—what you're curious about, what's taking up space in your mind, what you'd like to understand better. The right focus always emerges.
Can I really get meaningful results in just 90 minutes?
Yes. Meaningful change doesn't require endless sessions—it requires the right conditions for insight. When you have space to think out loud with someone who understands your world, patterns become visible that were impossible to see on your own. Don't underestimate what shifts when something finally makes sense.
What happens during the session?
We meet virtually via a secure video platform. There's no preparation required, no homework to complete beforehand. You simply show up as you are, and we start with what matters most to you. I'll ask questions that help you explore what's underneath the surface, share frameworks when they're useful, and create space for insights to emerge naturally. Most sessions feel more like a meaningful conversation than formal coaching—but with profound results.
Will I feel safe enough to be honest about what's really happening?
My entire approach is designed to support your nervous system in feeling safe enough to explore. I'm not here to judge, fix, or push you toward any particular outcome. I understand the unique pressures of pet professional life, and I know what it's like to care deeply while struggling personally. The space we create together is genuinely permission-giving—you get to share what feels right to share, at the pace that works for you.

Ready for Some Clarity?
You don't have to keep carrying this alone.
Whatever you're facing—the frustrating stuck pattern, the difficult decision, the disconnection from joy—it contains wisdom waiting to be discovered. Our 90 minutes together can shift how you see everything.
You get to decide if this feels right for where you are. If it does, I'm here.

Single sessions create lasting change. When you see something clearly—really see it—you can't unsee it. That clarity becomes a compass for decisions you haven't even faced yet.
Still not sure if a session feels right?
That makes sense. You're considering working together, and it's important to feel safe enough to take that step.
